Background: Chawny was brought to Rifts Earth as a gladiatorial slave by the Splugorth. Quickly marked for a potential Minion by his captives, Chawny escaped through the rifts of Atlantis, only to find himself in the monstrous world of Wormwood. After several months as a mercenary in service to the Champions of Light before finding another portal back to Rifts Earth.
Once back on Rifts Earth, Chawny found himself deep in the Vampire Kingdoms of Mexico. Rather than be devoured or turned by the monsters, Chawny fought back and made a name for himself as a vampire hunter. After months working his way north and sneaking through the CS Lone Star territories, Chawny finally made his way to Castle Refuge and continued his work as a mercenary.
